Jim Hudson Lexus invited twelve local non-profit groups to receive
a holiday donation at a brief ceremony on Friday, December 14th.
The event took place at the dealership on Washington Road. Over $11,000
worth of gifts and direct
donations will be presented in appreciation for programs which help people
in need. Shown are all recipient representatives with Mr. Hudson, as well
as Mike Firmin, Executive Director of the Golden Harvest Food Bank, receiving
his check from Jim Hudson Lexus General Manager Bill Gibbs. Golden Harvest
Food Bank was the focus charity for 2007, receiving a total of $5,000 for
the work they do in the community.

The Red Carpet Tour is part of a state-wide economic development project in conjunction
with the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
Jim Hudson Lexus helped students from the University of Tennessee plan their trip to Augusta to volunteer for local non-profits. Here are some photos of the students at work in Augusta. They participated in projects to benefit the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame Botanical Gardens, the Golden Harvest Food Bank, Salvation Army, Central Savannah River Land Trust and the Ronald McDonald House.
